We are gearing up for our bonfire/costume party that is next Saturday night. If you are coming, and have not told me, please let me know. Also, don't forget to bring some food to share, chairs, roasting forks if you have them, and anything else you think sounds good to bring.
We will have some pumpkins for carving. Today Mike and I went out and got a bunch of them. They are lining our deck right now. It looks pretty cool.
On the adoption front..........I have spoken with the birth mom, Autumn. She really seems interested in doing this, but has still not made that final statement. We did go ahead and contact a lawyer today, so that we can find out where we proceed next, should she say yes. Autumn needs continued prayer to help her feel at peace with the decision she needs to make. She knows that she cannot take care of these babies, and she wants to give them a better chance at life. She really seems to like us, and knows that we would love these babies and raise them the very best we can, with the help of God. She is just really struggling in saying the final yes..........
Please continue to pray for Autumn, her husband, her 2 kids, one who lives with her and one who lives with her mom, and for the twins as they develop. She is at month 3 right now. Also pray for Mike and me as we continue to hope and dream about the possiblity of us getting this awesome blessing! If it does not happen, it will hurt a lot, but we know that we have to take the risk to even have the chance to have the blessing.
